"About a year ago I purchased a reel to reel tape recorder and began experimenting with tape loops. Shortly after, I bought a box of used tapes online. I had no information about their origin, but they were all dated from 1960-1965 and had the same cursive handwriting on the labels. These were recordings of the radio, of the TV and records. There were also a few personal recordings–tapes of piano recitals, of sounds around the house, and of the man testing his broken tape machine.
Edmond is a made up name. I have been unable to find any other information about these tapes. This project is an attempt to use these recordings as source material in order to create an imagined narrative, an attempt to fill in the gaps a bit." - Yonsei

Deep, interesting, strong and emotional. Just a great work. Liz Harris will always have something strong, special and surprising in the best artistic way. risovic
Literally sickening record and wonderful message and cause and cant wait for more collaborative projects like this, worth whatever dollar you have.
